And…yes, I have found some time to scrap

I thought I would just show off some of my latest pages before I head off to Ben’s wedding and Sydney after that. My daughter in law loves to do scrapbooking too and I usually achieve a page a night while staying with her. I’m not sure if we will manage it this time as we are flying to Brisbane for a long weekend over my 2 week holiday. Should be lots of photo opportunities anyway. I have finally made my Stampin Up order for the quarter as well, so will have some lovely new product to work with. Let’s hope it all arrives before I fly out!

A few of my older pages

Just thought I’d add some photos of some of my pages that I have used papers other than Stampin Up. I hope you enjoy them 🙂 Sometimes I try to be more creative, other times I just want to get as many photos as I can on a page, and that leaves little room for added embelishments. I guess it depends on the type of album. At the moment I am working on C5 and C6’s albums. The photos were in old photo albums that weren’t acid free, and they were starting to get damaged. I have placed the photos into new albums but have yet to scrapbook them. The girls each have 3 albums filled up with photos! It’s going to take me AGES! I think that those pages will be relatively plain and I may just use the Cricut to decorate. They will probably be pretty flat, but hopefully will still look great. I will also need to put as many photos on a page as I can. And then after that…..I have the four boys albums to do the same to! Just as well I enjoy scrapbooking. I think I need more hours in each day. Anyway I hope that there are some pages that you can get ideas from. So here they are…..

Time Wise!

It’s a new year….2010…and I have made my new years resolution!

I have decided that ‘Stampin Up’ is a hobby that I WILL enjoy!

I will not become a demonstrator who is never at home. I will continue to create using ‘Stampin Up’ products as I still love how they all fit together so nicely. I can, and will help other people create beautiful scrapbooking pages and cards when they ask for my help. I hope to continue WOW (welcome on Wednesdays), but I will be very relaxed about it. I am much more interested in spending quality time with friends than being up with the best ‘Stampin Up’ sales people! I love scrapbooking and I intend to keep it that way. No stress just pure enjoyment.

My family, and quality time with them is so important. They grow up so fast and I want to enjoy every moment before they ALL leave home. This Christmas I had all my 6 children home for the first time in 3 years. I LOVED it! (Along with my daughter in law and grandchildren, and girlfriends and boyfriends) Attached is a family portrait I had taken. Boy do I feel so proud of them all…and love each one of them. That is what is important in life. The love of family and friends. Bless you all xxx

3 of my boys are scattered over the world from Australia to England. 3 of my children (well nearly adults now) still live at home…but time is moving so fast, and they will be making their own way in this world before I know it! That is why I love scrapbooking. To make a record of all the precious moments together.

My daughter in law and I did manage to find some scrapbooking time over the holiday period and I will load some photos up as soon as I can.

Contact me if you want ‘Stampin Up’ products, I still purchase products for myself and would be happy to combine your purchases with mine.

GOD IS GOOD 🙂

My First Blog

Hi and welcome to my first blog. This is so exciting and yet also a little scary. I became an independent ‘Stampin Up’ demonstrator in May 2009 and so far have only purchased for me! With all the other interests in my life I am finding that I haven’t as much spare time for ‘Stampin Up’ as I had hoped. So to make a committment to actually making this work, I have decided to allocate every Wednesday morning to Stamping and Scrapbooking (you have to start somewhere). If you are interested in Card making or Scrapbooking and live in the Waitara area, please feel free to contact me and I will let you know where I live and the details for our Wednesday morning get together. I have made some scrapbook pages with the ‘Sweet nothings’ and the ‘Petal Party’ simply scrappin kits and will post some photos of those for you. ‘Stampin Up’ is so much fun! I just wish I had more spare hours in my day 🙂
